Phillip Wylie is an offensive cybersecurity professional specializing in penetration testing, commonly known as ethical hacking. Phillip has over 23 years of experience in cybersecurity and information technology. Phillip started his career as a system administrator and has worked in network security, application security and has spent the last 8.5 years as a penetration tester. Phillip started his penetration testing career in consulting where he spent 5 years.  


Phillip is an adjunct instructor teaching Ethical Hacking & System Defense and Web App Pentesting at Dallas College (formerly Richland College) in Dallas, Texas.

Phillip is the founder and director of The Pwn School Project an educational meetup teaching different topics in ethical hacking. 


Phillip got interested in teaching from mentoring others interested in ethical hacking. Teaching was a way for him to expand mentoring on a broader scale. 


Phillip presents at conferences as well as giving workshops.
